Real Estate Agents Looking To Increase Exposure

January 15, 2008

Damon CliffordLooking to get more online exposure to promote your real estate business and services? Well, you better start blogging. More and more attention is being given to real estate blogs as a method to increase brand awareness, establish yourself as THE agent in your area, and develop leads.

Real Estate Blog Marketing

Many real estate agents haven’t even started to blog. This is because they don’t understand what a blog is or blogging, how to set a blog up, or don’t see the perceived value in establishing a blog. There are numerous success stories of real estate agents who have started their own blog and it’s had a direct impact on their bottom line.

A website called The Real Estate Tomato is here to help with all of those aspects. They have a wealth of knowledge on how to get your own blog up and running and how to stay on track so you don’t lose your focus when blogging. Almost any area of blogs and blogging is covered on their website and you shouldn’t have any problem getting your own blog started. You can read how blogging has changed the career of Jackie Colson-Miller of Tampa, Florida by clicking here and how she’s been able to offset the downturn in the real estate market by establishing her own blog.

Inman News has been running a series of Web 2.0 videos for real estate agents who want to learn more about and take advantage of these technologies. I would recommend signing up for their daily emails so you never miss the most current news and trends for Web 2.0.

Both of these websites say that real estate agents who blog are generating more leads and closing more sales.

With the knowledge from The Real Estate Tomato and the strategies from Inman news, your real estate business is sure to stay ahead of the pack.

Blogging does seem to be getting bigger. A lot of people I know are starting their own personal blog just to have. They don’t even use it for business so I should start my own.

Lol well it looks as though your commenters have all figured at least one thing out and that is to use your desired anchor text as their Name in order to get the backlink to their blog.

When I look in Boston, instead of trying to find apartments myself, I always use an agent….. because there arent many listed by owner. I use a site for Boston Apartment agents, realtors, and brokers to find stuff in the Downtown area. You usually have to pay a fee when you find an apartment in Boston (NYC too), but if you find something nice its worth it!
