I was talking to a real estate agent the other day and he was telling me a new service that he’s been using with some success. 800infohomeline.com allows you to set up a voice prerecording of a house’s details and any other pertinent information. He said that he writes the toll free number on the signs he puts out and a potential client can call 24 hours a day to get more information on the house.

He told me he’s had much more time to focus on actual clients who want to buy a house and he receives fewer calls from “looky loos” because they called the number and decided the house wasn’t for them or didn’t need any more information. As many of you are aware, these are the people who take up much of your time. A great benefit is that you are still able to capture the potential clients contact information, so you can still follow up with them if they are serious about purchasing a house and you can let them know about other listings.
