10 ways to generate more Internet sales leads from your website

September 22, 2008

DamonToday and tomorrow, I’m going to show you 10 ways to generate more Interent sales leads from your website. All agents want more leads, and these tips will show you how to do just that.

Here are 5 today:

1. Keep it clean

Make sure your website is easy to navigate and easy on the eyes. Nobody wants to see a “busy” website filled with to many images and content all over the place. If you do have good content, you can make it easy for your website visitors to find it with appropriate navigation. The more cluttered your website looks, the more likely the visitor will just click away.

2. Make it quick

First impressions are important online. Make sure your website loads up quickly or the visitor will be frustrated and take off. It shouldn’t take more than 5 seconds for your website to upload. If it takes longer than that, it’s probably the images on your website. Find ways to reduce the number of images or create the images in a small file. How long would you stay and wait for someone if you knocked on their door?

3. Shorter forms actually make for better leads

Of course you’re going to need basic contact information and maybe a little more about the type of house they want and their budget. But if you ask too many questions, you’re going to get fewer and less qualified leads than you would if you had a short lead form. You can get more information from the prospect when you call them on the phone or meet them in person.

4. Pre-qualify leads with content not questions

If you have great content, then you know that visitor should be on your site. If you work a certain part of town and that visitor still fills out your contact form, more than likely they’re looking for a house in that same part of time. Even buyers don’t want to waste their time. So, if you have better content on your website, you can assume those that contact you are looking for your services.

5. Create trust

Real estate sales is a relationship business. And as we all know, the more trust prospects have in you, the more likely they will buy from you. Creating trust on the website can be done in the “About” page where you introduce yourself and list your qualifications. You will also want to have testimonials, membership organization logos, and endorsements. When a visitor comes to your site, you should be able to answer the question to: Why would someone come to you?

These will help you gain more Interenet leads. Tomorrow I will show you 5 more.

I think creating trust is the most important thing and I think this is the kind of things that I should do to my website.

My traffic has been really dull lately.

Allow me to recommend a website that I have been using over the past few months to generate fresh sales, business development, and marketing leads. Salesconx is a B2B referral marketplace where you can find people who will introduce you to prospective customers for your service. Tell the people in the Salesconx network who you would like to be introduced to, and wait for their responses. What you get in return are warm leads and more business.

Salesconx raised $1.5 million in venture capital last month and is really starting to grow. Please give it a try. http://www.salesconx.com/new.php
