RIS Media has a great article called “3 Ways to Deliver On The One Stop Shopping Promise” which tells you the things you need to do as an agent to take care of your clients.

In today’s competitive real estate market, you want to be able to solve all of your client’s real estate needs and so many agents say they can “do it all”, but when it actually comes down to delivering…they fail.

If you are promising your clients that your business is a one stop shop, you want to be able to deliver on all their needs. The better you can do this, the more likely they will be in sending you referrals and doing business with you later down the road.

    Specialist get paid more in any industry. Specialize in a specific area of the market and network, network, network for the other areas. If you can gain a reputation as a person who can get it done and has the right connections, that will almost be better than be the “jack of all trades” so to speak.

    Around here its become the trend for agents to become onestop shops, helping sell, buy, arrange mortgages, even helping them move house, arranging transport, removals etc. – It may seem like less stress, but you get a much worse service, go to specialists for each requirement.
