Here’s some positive news we’ve been waiting to see for quite some time, new home sales increased 11% over the month before. This is the most it’s increased in a month in over 8 years.
Even though housing sales were up in June, the median home price in June was $206,000, 12% below the price a year earlier.

It is very encouraging indeed to see these stats. Here in Minnesota, we really have seen things “ramp up” as of late with multiple offers being found on many of the various listings. What a great time to be a first time home buyer however!!
It’s great to see that the selling of new homes has increased despite the current economic situation.
