Sales and Marketing for Real Estate Agents

Managing Internet Leads from Your Real Estate Website

February 8th, 2010 by Damon

When a real estate lead comes through from your website, it’s important to follow up with that lead almost immediately. Whoever submitted their information is doing their research and they want to hear or gather more information so they can make a decision.

Since they’re online, you can assume that they’re checking out more Realtors on the Internet. This is why it’s important to respond as quickly as possible. Whoever gets back to this potential customer first has the inside track at getting their business.

I’ve heard that some agents don’t get to their leads from their website for days. It’s no wonder that they can’t close those leads, it’s been too long and they’ve already made a decision one way or the other.

Mike Parker has an article called How to Avoid Internet Lead Conversion Failure that will help you convert more of your leads from your website.

I have a website that I generate leads for my agents from. It is amazing how different it is to work an internet lead from a regular lead. It takes lots of training and hard work to close them but it is all worth it in the end!
