I’ve written a couple of times about marketing yourself as a green Realtor to market towards that niche of consumers. If you’re in in a green city, it’s even more advantageous to learn the skills, become an expert in the green field, and get all the certifications that you can.
Al Medina at RIS Media wrote a great article for Realtors to to become an expert in the green industry and learn how to use it in your marketing.
Since the green movement is here to stay, becoming a “Green Realtor” can be a great method to attract new customers.

Could you tell us more about how to profile yourself as a green company? What should you do? What are the pittfalls and the risks?
In Southern California there are a number of communities where that would work great. Sadly, in the Antelope Valley where I am from, there doesn’t seem to be much interests in being green, except for maybe watering their lush green lawns in the middle of the desert.
